Sarah Hayley Orrantia

Sarah Hayley Orrantia (born February 21st 1994) is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. Her most well-known role is the role of Erica Goldberg in the ABC comedy series The Goldbergs. She was a part of Lakoda Rayne (a country-pop girl group that was formed by Paula Abdul in the first season of The X Factor). Her debut single, "Love Sick," was released in 2015. Her debut EP, The Way Out (May 2019) was released in May of 2019. Orrantia began singing at 9 years old, and started her professional training at the age of 12 years. When she was 13 she composed her first song. At the age of 15, she recorded her first EP of covers and started writing songs with the songwriter Jamie Houston who at the time was famous for writing hits for three Disney High School Musical movies. Orrantia was selected to audition for the X Factor's debut season in summer 2011. Orrantia, who submitted a YouTube video entry was chosen by judges and received four "yeses" votes in the live audition stage. Although she had originally auditioned one-woman show, during "Hollywood Week" she, along with three female singers were put together to complete the remaining auditions. The group was named Lakoda Rayne. They were eliminated at the fifth week of live shows.
